yeah XDD but I think that I'll I play another game of Mega Man, if I can't afford it~ like Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star, I really wanna play it, however, it's only available in Japanese language, and I don't understand
Though, there's one thing that bothers me. Besides what's been going on with Capcom in the last couple of years, a lot of people disriminate against people who protest Capcom's actions. And while I agree that some of those people are just annoying trolls who want attention, some of those peple have valid reasons for their complaints. Capcom has been neglecting Megaman and pushing him aside. It's nice to see that they're making money out of some of their other franchises like Street Fighter, Resident Evil, ect. But they just ignore the requests and the suggestions the fans make, and they just push them aside. And on top of that, Megaman was one of the most requested characters to be added into the game. Sure, we have Zero and Tron Bon. But that would be like if they made the next Smash Bros. game without Mario, and if they just had Bowser and Wario. And that would be like if they made the next Street Fighter game without Ryu and Ken. Probably for casual players and for anti-fans that's okay. But that's just inexcusable for the majority of fans out there. Because that's a lot of potential thrown to waste. And its not just the exclusion of Megaman in MvC3 or UMvC3, but there are several other reasons why the game has recieved mixed reviews. The game is only 40% or 50% complete, and this whole DLC thing was even more of a slap in the face. Because all that content should already exist within the game. And if you want the characters or the skins in the game, you have to pay for them as well as for the game itself. And if that's not bad enough, they only added X and Talbain as skins for other characters to wear. Were they serious when they thought of that?
Another thing that has dissapointed fans was the cancellation of Megaman Legends 3, a game that was highly anticipated, but never came to be. I'm not sure why Capcom suddenly decided to pull the plug on that game, but I do know for certain that it has enraged a lot of fans out there. Why did this happen? Was the budget not good enough? Was the game not that popular as Capcom so claimed? Or did they simply think "To hell with it." and just decided to end it there for no apparent reason at all? And on top of that, they cancelled Megaman Universe as well. Now, I can understand time restraints and budget limitations. But for a lot of people who once had respect and support for Capcom, it seems like the company just doesn't care anymore. Some people claim that the reason why Capcom is in a chaotic state is because Keiji Inafune left the company. But I'm sure there are many other reasons behind that. Now, I don't know exactly what's going on with Capcom today. But I just want to say that I've once had some respect for them back when they used to make games that were 100% complete that satisfied their customers. But their recent actions have damaged their reputation, and they have lost respect for a lot of the poeple who once supported them. But I'm trying my best to forgive them. Becuase even though things seem completely hopeless, there's just gotta be a light at the end of the tunnel. Now I know that it's annoying to have fanboys complain about these things. But some people have all the reason to be upset. Some of those "fanboys" feel that Capcom has been disloyal in these last several years. And I can understand why. But the thing is I've been supporting Capcom since the 80s. Becuase back in the 80s and 90s, they gave us some of the best video game franchises of all time. I don't hate Capcom, but I wish they wouldn't do what they're doing now which is trolling fans who expected so much from them. But that's just wishful thinking on my part. Anyway, bottom line is I just hope that they don't go bankrupt. Or else all hope for them is lost.
I apologize if I was trolling and spamming. But I just felt I needed to get it off my chest. Becaase I know that there are those who criticise dissapointed fans for stating their opinions and frustrations. But I feel that things have been going way down hill in the last several years. And its not just because Capcom has been neglecting one of their most important franchises, but because they have done things that have damaged their own reputation. If you feel I've done wrong by stating my opinon, feel free to block me if you wish. But I assure you, I meant no harm. But I'm one of those dissapointed fans who expected so much back then. But since MvC3, and since the cancellation of MML3, I've stopped expecting things. All I can do is just move on, and just keep a sense of hope. And maybe someday, things will change for the better. Just maybe.
LIKE LIKE LIKE YOUR COMMENT!! *sorry for the late reply* Yes, it seems that, Capcom thought that Mega Man was not that important. And actually, they are. Isn't it odd to have a game, where the main character isn't there? Ridiculous. I don't think they were serious.. Agree. I was hoping that I could play Mega Man Legends 3 and Universe.. Turns out I can't. I'm so disappointed.
From my point of view, Mega Man is really popular. It's like, almost everyone knows it..
Ah.. And.. Why? Why is it just because of one person leaving the company (Keiji Inafune), Capcom went to chaos? I'm sure they can do it without him, they have to be an independent company. I too, still trying my best to forgive them as well, because they were the ones giving birth to Mega Man itself. And also, I'm a huge fan of Mega Man since I was a kid XDD
Nah, don't worry! I know how you feel~~ I believe in Capcom & Mega Man. I will support them 'till the end. I'm sure that there will be a light for them. Anyways, thank you so much for your information about Capcom :] I hope so, Amin!
Oh and by the way! Which Mega Man series have you played? And what's your favorite? I've played the Zero, X, Star Force series~ Next one I'm going to play the Battle Network series~ And my favorite one is the X & Star Force series
Sorry for not responding sooner. But I'm glad you sympathize with me on this whole subject. Yeah, its just downright depressing and regretful that things have taken a turn for the worst. But yes; Capcom sure has sunken low as of the last several years. For leaving Megaman out of MvC, I can understand why they would do that for the first or second games. Because at first I thought maybe they hadn't thought of it before. But it became a reocurring issue that has been done all throughout the 2000s when Capcom was still making those kinds of games. The same problem plagued "Tatsunoko vs Capcom" as well, they had Zero, but no X. And if that's not bad enough, X was only featured in Zero's ending of that game. But seriously, what are they trying to prove by doing it a fourth and fifth time? Especially when fans have begged and pleaded over and over again for him to be added into the game? That just shows me how cold and uncaring Capcom has become. What happened to the Capcom that actually cared about its fans?
And the fact that they blatantly and shamelessly cancelled MML3 and MM Universe, that has only further damaged their reputation because fans have been anticipating those titles for years now. I two share your feelings on this. I'm not sure if Keiji Inafune's departure from the company is the sole reason why Capcom is in their current state. But I'm sure that Inafune had his reasons for why he left the company to begin with. But some of those reasons justs seem invalid for why Capcom is doing what they're doing now.
What kind of MM games have I played, you ask? Well, back in the day, I played mostly the classic and the X series. Back in those days, those were some of my favorite video game series of all time, and definitely one of my most remembered childhood favorites. I didn't play that many of the newer games that came out in more recent years. But I did give some of them a try. I played Megaman Zero once, and I thought it was a decent game. And I think I even once played one of the Legends games. I thought it was pretty good. But just for me, my personal favorites have always been the original series, and the X series.
wait, in Wii, I played as Mega Man from the Legends series and Roll (though it's not X).__. I'm really curious about the reasons why Capcom has become a cold-blooded company. Why don't they tell us the reason behind it, rather then keeping it as a secret and ruin their reputation? Out of the ordinary, eh? I feel sorry for the Mega Man Legends fans, because they have made like a group of "100000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3", and they've fulfilled the purpose, but Capcom ignores them.. *sigh*
Glad you saw two sides of the two coins known as Capcom and fans here!
Don't worry; I am not gonna block you and you're not trolling or even spamming unlike most trolls. It's your own opinion anyway and I respect it. And, for me, opinion is neither right nor wrong anyway...
